Teri holds a 4-year Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM), with board certification from NCCAOM-National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed in Washington state, as well as a Masters of Science from University of California, Davis in Community Health and Organizational Development. A Certified Ayurveda Practitioner and licensed acupuncturist with advanced studies in India.
Teri is an East Asian nutrition and cooking instructor, as well as a certified health coach, and has been trained in Spiritual PhytoEssencing/aromatherapy, herbal medicine and energy medicine. A member of the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine, Teri specializes in digestive disorders, stress, women’s issues and aging.
Her passion is teaching and sharing her knowledge through classes, retreats and private consultations.
Teri's approach to wellness is to help you understand the underlying cause of your concerns rather than only focusing on symptoms. She'll help you learn how to better understand your body through Ayurveda, and can teach you to assist and participate in your own healing process.
